Welcome to For God Today
I have created this site “For God Today” in the hope that you will find some small practical thing you can incorporate into you daily life to show God how much you appreciate what He does for us, each and every day.
I hope to help you find what you can do for God today and everyday.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. —Genesis 1:1
- Do you believe in God and know that he is the almighty king, creator of the universe who rules over the earth and all that is in it? Read John 3:31
- Did you know the Bible is God’s living word meant for each of us yesterday, today and tomorrow? Read Hebrews 4:12
- Do you believe that God gives divine protection and guidance to those who believe in him and his son, Jesus, whom he sent to earth to be our savior? Read Psalm 121
If you don’t believe these things or are not sure, I hope that you will come to know the truth and be given a thorough understanding and insight into the words of the bible, God and the salvation available through Jesus his son.
For those who do believe, we understand that God wants us to give freely of ourselves to glorify him. Simply being a good Christian person willing to help others and serve God by giving of yourself in Jesus name.
Do you ask yourself – What Can I do for God Today ?
Everyday there is something for us to do for God, not out of selfishness, but out of love and devotion to him so that others may also share in his glory.
Therefore I Glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God.
Through the time we give to God in obedience he will bless us and enrich us as well as those around us that all may grow to know the truth about who he is and experience his unending love. God is ever present, he is with us in everything we do and say. He knows your heart and whatever you do for him without need to bring attention to yourself.
Let’s be sure to make each day a day that will spread his love around us though the actions of the life he has given each of us to live. Decide to do something for God today.
